Mine still works fine. Don't know the story behind it, don't care. It was cheap and I knew what I was gambling. Had it not come with a disclaimer thats different. You don't see me flaming people who buy a Cavalier or Sunfire instead of a Camry or Accord, so let it go naysayers.

Norinco is up in the air for me, i woudlent mind one of their M14's and my buddy has a Norc SKS that shoots and fuctions great, but some of their stuff is....well you get what you pay for
That is the thing. As I said before Norinco just stamps their name on products from numerous factories. So maybe one model such as the SKS or the M14 will be great and something like the 870's or the brownings are of inferior quality.
I think its obvious they dont screen these guns well before putting their names on them. You just need to take a good look into how well the model you want operates before purchasing it. The quality of these 870's was no different a year before the deal here. I tried one a long time ago and had the previous issues with feed and the quality became apparent.
I have no issues with norinco, you just have to be selective with the models. My gunsmith shoots IDPA and IPSC with a Norinco .45. seems to work fine...
I do agree that no body should be selling these 870's anymore though...

I have one that still works fine as well.I also knew I was taking a chance buying one.It is not the Norinco 870 clone or the parts would fit.The 870 clone would be the HP9 and from what I hear they work just fine.

This is the only norinco product iv had problems with. Ill still buy norc products in the future. The 780 is known to be a POS and I knew that when I bought it. For the price its still a good deal for a wallhanger
