The JS 7.62mm Sniper Rifle, is of bolt-action and chambered for 7.62×54mm R.
It should be noticed that the early version have muzzle brake, but was omitted on the later prototypes due to the dust kicking problem and the recoil recuction of th muzzle brake was not sufficient. Designed by Zou Yi Hong of Jian She Corp, he spend 8 months to design and built the weapon from scratch. It was first shown during the Beijing Police Equipment Expo of May, 2005.

Personally, I hope that it could to make its way to People's Republik of Canuckistan, but it needs Picatinny rail, desprite of whatever advandages they claim about their indigenous optic mount.....
