Of the few Norincos that I have , 1911a1 ,M14 ,sks , cq311 , AK84s , the only one that gave me any grief was the AK , its a jam O'matic , not that its something that I have to worry about any more , but , you would think they'd get the AK right .
I love the da grizzly for the price and have owned and do own several. I just made a trade for a my first da ar15 so I guess I will see what those are all about.
Everytime I see a norinco 1911 copy on the ee I consider it. The horror stories of the rough edges are the only thing that keeps me away.
It is so true the m305s make those m1a clones look like junk. It is almost laughable they call themselves springfield armory.
On a separate note, I think the 223 version of t97 is miles away from the 5.8 mil t95s. the conversion really doomed the t97s.
Agreed. The SA rifles are plagued with the same problems as the Norc M305's these days. It's common knowledge and not a little surprising. The difference is the price of an M305 is 1/5 the cost of a SA rifle and you can tweak all the minor issues in your basement with simple tools and a couple borrowed tools. I have been hammering bulk hot loaded 7.62mm through my Norc for years and haven't even had a stoppage. It just keeps going.
The conversion of the T97 to 5.56mm and other modifications done to it prior to export/import is exactly what doomed the T97. Like I keep saying, as long as you can get Norc firearm that is a clone of a tried and true established design which hasn't been modified, then they are usually a solid hit.
Norinco pistols are pretty popular in Canada and many people hate them and relegate them as inferior or garbage.
I just bought my third one recently. They've all been great shooters and a great value with accuracy that rivals or beat others costing 4 times more.
I bench rested mine yesterday and achieved match grade accuracy from my NP22 at 25 yards.
How many Norc owners here are getting superb accuracy?
Yep I bought 3 when they were on with the 1000rounds of .45! Love that gun and haven't even modified it yet, no more sharp edges than any other handgun I have and love the blueing, plus unmarked is nice! I wish I knew more about what LE or Military they were meant for! I also have a couple 2 tone when they had the 500 round combo on!! They are nice, I don't have one broken in yet, slide is still a tiny bit stiff but shoots like a champ!Love my No Marking* 1911, & Never an issue with any Norinco or Da.
