UPDATE: DISASSEMBLY VIDEOS IN POST #11 and #47
Its here!!!!
The long wait is finally over, I ordered in early July, it was shipped November 14 from SFRC and arrived November 15 to my door (in Ontario).
Unboxing: the case was packed very well in foam bits
Opening the case: pistol sealed in preservative grease
All cleaned up: pistol and the mag it came with
Here it is with its .45 cal brother:
And they both join the GSG 1911:
Basic field strip:

Detail strip: Note, I could not get the extractor out, it is in there tight!
The mainspring housing:
IT IS PLASTIC:
and a ##### to get out…..I could remove the housing pin and #### the pistol and the housing wouldn’t budge!
Lots of cuts on my hand getting it out…..

I ended up sanding the crap out of it to make the fit much easier and smoother. This is hands down the crappiest part of the pistol and it would be the 1st one I replace.
The inside of the frame is fairly rough; it will need plenty of sanding/polishing which I plan to do at a later date.
The trigger pull is not the greatest at the moment, around 7.5 lbs. Hopefully some internal polishing and tuning will get it up to par to my Armco tuned .45 norc (crisp 4.5 lbs!)
RANGE REVIEW:
I was shooting 25 yards away, the pistol windage was fairly bang on, but the point of impact was high with my reloads (thought I expected it to be).
My best slow shooting group:
Normal shooting:
And a rapid fire video

Shot about 100 rounds, had only one stovepipe, otherwise flawless shooting pistol.
Overall very happy, well worth the wait.
