Are all these jw-15’s and jw-25’s you got new production or old stock? The ones on the market back in the day were all made in the 90’s for the us market but never shipped and I thought they weren’t making them anymore

and how does this make sense? Why not 10 like everything else?
Do I have to ask multiple times?
could be something as simple as import laws for another region being supplied. if theyre only allowed 10 rounds total then its 9+1.

Perhaps if they have different springs and followers now and theyre physically larger while the mag body stayed the same size?

Maybe its due to being straight body versus curved like other magazine sizes.

Unless the importer knows then its anyone's guess

Yeah why the extra 2 rounds?

Why not the classic Marlin 7 round style?

Or why not the Brno 5 round style?

These look like a good value and solid buy. If they had these in a 13” barrel again I’d buy one right now.

Safety looks a bit different then the other JW15's.
What model of BRNO are these a clone of?
@Tenda , What exactly is the difference between the JW-15 and the NR-15s; other than the magazines? I have looked on line and have been unable to find any reviews for this rifle; very new, I expect.

I've owned both the standard and short lenght barrel JW-15a. Not the NR-15.

Regarding the NR-15:

-No sling swivels
-Different safety and maybe safer than the one on the jw-15a. I don't like the design of the jw-15a safety. iirc, there is a constant tension pushing toward the "fire" position.
-rear sight with a smaller footprint.
-heavier than the jw-15a.
-straight mag body might be more reliable but sticks out a bit more.

Thanks for the answer, got a couple more questions...

How does it shoot?
I had both the JW-15 and the Scorpio, and they were both amazingly accurate.
Same receiver as the JW?
You mentioned being "heavier", is the weight coming from the stock (the barrel looks quite slim)?
More of a "bench-rest" stock?

I've never owned the NR-15. I can't tell about the accuracy.

The jw-15a weight (standard barrel) is around 5.75 lbs vs 6.5 lbs for the NR-15 ( from the Tenda website)
