Wow, now they look gorgeous and like a 1000$ gun:).
Looking forward to your range report.

Thanks Dan.

That Walther stock was purchased at a gun show many moons ago :)

As soon as I realized that there is a new potential project rifle on the market, you guys, already went so far ahead in your mods :)

My both rifles have fully adjustable trigger, for both overtravel and sear engagement, tuned trigger spring and are 1.5 and 2 lbs.

Fitting a stock was not harder than painting one, and I would do it again , but now my dream is an NS522 based tubegun, but dont tell anyone ;)

The hardest part in the project was to find a guy to make some pillars. Thanks handy guys from my IPSC club for helping me with this part :)

Second question was where to find a sutable stock. Of course, on the EE forum, thanks CGN ;)

As I mentioned before, the second rifle has a modefied Boyds Varmint Pro stock for a .22 Ruger. Just find the correct location fot your action and GB weld pillars in place. I dont have any machinery available fot stock inletting, so I did all the fitting with a carving knife and a dremmel.

I like the result :)

These rifles have a huge potential for the $$$$ we paid fot them :)

Thanks Dan for inspiration, your thread on the mods helped me to decide and achive these results :)

Regarding the range repotr: all I can say righ now, these rifles have a potential. Im still trying to make a 1/2 inch group, but cannot ,- simply not enough range time, but have consistant 0.6 - 0.7 inches groups at 50m. Several groups were "one hole" 4 rounds with a flyer making it close to an inch, but it's not the gun, - operator error or ammo. Can say, that bulk CCI Blazer gives better results than any other brands. Tighter groups with a flyer compared to evenly spreaded mid quality groups shot with target quality ammo.

I am inletting a centerfire synthetic stock at the moment. The one I found seems to be a good fit as I can still use the original bolt cut out and rear pillar. I just need to hog out a bit of material, insert the front pillar and inlet the bottom metal. I will post pics when I get my bench set up at my new place.

Great work gentlemen

Went out and shot some groups today with sorted ammo by weight and oal. looks like it really makes a difference.

It is a nice looking stock.... I was about 5 seconds from buying one from KFS, but decided against it. Nice looking....not sure if it's $300 nice though lol
Those look like flip up rings....like the scope folds down for transport. I'd like to start a "kickstarter" fund to get you something a little lower....
