Norinco NS522 build: NEW MAG RELEASE

Nice results!

I do not shoot match grade in mine ever, but I do weigh each round of bulk to reduce the flyers.
I have a problem chambering most bulk ammo in mine. They love the Federal Gold Medal Match and UltraMatch ammo, and that's what I generally feed them. I save the bulk ammo for my JW-15.

So i went with the safety pin spring. I haven't found any other models localy to replace the factory trigger spring.

I also did a nice deburr/polish job on all the trigger group parts and *housing* ( not where sharp edges are required as well  ).
I removed the loose between the parts using brass shims.

The result is : creeeeep but the break and pull are great with the safety pin and polish job, I would say around 1 to 1.5 pounds.
There is a big improvement with the trigger job, hte only thing i can complain is the creep.

I tested it today. I was cold so i shot only a couples of rounds.

I like the improvements i made to the stock, it feels good !

First time i try SK Match in it. I can do better but its not bad... The rifle sure can shoot !

I finally tested the single shot adaptor i made.

I will have to make another one. The rounds jam when you feed them.
I think the angle of the round is too much, it will have to be more level with the bore.

Outstanding work!

I absoloutly LOVE that stock.

Have you considered an adjustable sear screw mod like I did? I was able to safely remove 99.9% of the creep. Well, minus the guy behind the trigger of course.

Father, I will have to take a look at it.

Also planned to make bushings/spacers for the safety pin spring.

What options are their for raise the base higher.
My rear sight site too low and I cannot open the bolt with it mounted.
Or would it be better to look at bending the bolt handle?

What you think of my trigger job ?
Today, I added an overtravel screw + creep screw ( well I think it should work ) and made a bushing for the safety pin spring.

Father, do you think the creep screw will work ?
I think i saw something similar done on a previous post...
EDIT : Yup it was minimouse post :http://www.canadiangunnutz.com/foru...AG-RELEASE?p=11396781&viewfull=1#post11396781

I only need to find 4-40 set screws and i will adjust the screws with loctite.
Should be done by the end of the week.

What you see on parts and shims is grease...
