It's nice looking gun, but not real lefty-friendly by the looks of it. Anyone know if it can be modified to spit brass out to the left, or should I just man up and learn to shoot like everyone else?

i'm left-handed and i have shot the AR15 SP1 (without the shell deflector) and T97A shortie. The brass ejected sideway and outward. in fact, i haven't seen a semi which spins brass at my face...but then, maybe i'm just lucky!

Have you got a pic of your PE-90 bolt? I have more detailed pics of the T97 bolt in the faq section of the red rifles forum.

We are wondering about the availability of the Chinese bayonet, and if need be the sending out of selected rifles to Dlask to put on an M16 birdcage so that an M9 bayonet can be used.

I just want everyone to know... I resisted the "urge" to pick up a Type 97 since August 2nd... Today is the 11th of November and this timeline surely marks some sort of record for me in self control... In the end, I had to give in and get one! (I needed the free rail... That's my story and I'm sticking to it!!!)

Also, I'm feeling rather patriotic today, and found it fitting to submit my order on Rememberance Day.
