Just kidding! I already preordered - and honestly, $899 is still a good price. I believe Lever was selling the restricted versions for more than $1000, so honestly, I can see the price going up. And lets face it, unless you do preorder, the price will be what it will be. CanAm was reasonable to us and many of us paid the $100 back in July. If you didn't preorder (or don't preorder), you have no one to blame but yourself.

have most of you paid the $100 deposit? ...cause I was like.. under 20 on the preorder list and i don't think i've been charged that yet...

Ya, same here, I shot them an email last week to make sure there wasn't anything wrong with my order, they said all was well, they were still going through all the orders. Maybe they started from the bottom of the list, who knows, but I log into the site, my invoice shows up, so I'm not too worried. So, here's hoping for a surprise before christmas.

I just got billed last week, the name on the credit card statement is mis-leading, at first I was wondering what the hell??? then I looked at my invoice and sure enough it was CanAm :D

I pre-ordered on Nov.11th, no $100 charge to my cc yet...

Hmm, kinda weird, seems like there's lots of us that have been charged, lots that haven't, maybe they're using a random number generator to process orders, they seem pretty busy though, whatever reason, as long as the gun winds up in my hands I'll be happy
 
I ordered the first day or two the pre-order was available and I'm in the early 70's on the list (can't remember offhand). I was charged the $100 deposit. This charge showed up on my Visa a month later, but it's there.

Check your statements closely to make sure.
