I am not sure what the spring (clip) is for,
but it might be to stop the bayo ring from rattling.
The FH is pressed and pinned. Not threaded.
The 2 indents are the ends of the hole for the cross-pin.
If you want to knock it out, use a drift punch
slightly smaller than the hole, blah, blah, you'll figure it out.
Once the pin is out, put a rag around the FH and twist it out by hand.
Some penetrant oil or WD40 might help.
Once out, you can't cut threads in the FH since it's too big for 1/2"
(but you can sell it to Deckard,
who will use them as gingle-bells for his goats).
The barrel can be threaded 1/2" - 28tpi for AR attachments and such,
Dlask can do it (among others).
