hehe I had a preorder at Canam but still no news.
Sometime this fall. Looks like Norinco filled the North Sylva order first, CanAm is next.. They'll be getting LOTS of business out of Canada for a while.
hehe I had a preorder at Canam but still no news.
I am confused. Why did CanAm's order not get filled first? weren't they the one's fighting for this rifle? ...and pardon me if I have just missed something along the way....so many threads and so little time......
Don't believe you would post that...Only people with Norinco corporate can give you a definite answer.
I believe the unit cost of these rifles is $400.
In the last 25 years, the Chinese designed and tested
over 30 service rifles that are variations of 11 main platforms.
It appears that what they change their mind like women
about what they give to their own troops.
Where the heck is this guy getting his info, neverland? I count 3 service rifles in the last 57 years. The Type 56, the type 81, and the 95.

This sounds like the dumb rumor that Red Dawn changed the villains from Chinese to North Korean because the Chinese government complained about it. When in reality they changed it to get into Chinese movie market. I even saw it on the news. China's movie market is second only to the U.S.' Did everyone forget MGM going bankrupt?
Rumors and the internet, figures.
Should variants and rifles that never made it into full service count? The type 03 was basically just made to ween reservists off the 81.
Plus the guy said 30 in the past 25 years.
Anyone else have a mag get stuck in the magwell of the T97NSR?
It took some serious wiggling and yanking to pull the ASC LAR-15 mag free. Took about 15 minutes...
Thoughts...?

Anyone have an issue with the gas regulator being hard to get out? I gave it a quick wipedown and the regulator came out fine, after putting about 150 rounds through it I had to pry it out as it would no longer drop free. So cleaned all the carbon off it and put it back in. Was there just too much oil left on that attracted the carbon? Any thing I can do to stop the buildup?
Still new to this.

Common. Both me and my buddy had to give the back of the piston a tap forward before it broke the selector and piston free.
