Because it is going together as a two part assy, the left side selector can be made to flick to fire in what ever position we machine it to.
 
can I suggest that you add a bump as a sear block, for the safe position, if you are redesigning, it would be easy to add, I like having a safety not just a trigger disconnect.
 
Shipping date for NEA Lower Rail and Brake??

I am bad with money...I tend to spend it as soon as I have it. When the parts come out I might have any left....Getting to close to the holidays :)

I havent handled the rail but it would seem like a 512 may be just a little too long to fit on the rail. But if you could get it on it might be too high for a decent cheek weld.

That being said, when NEA releases their butt stock adapter it wouldnt be hard to sort that out.
 
Ohhh. This is looking good.

I sold the first NEA mount I because I got fed up with the H1 wobbling all over it.

I may have to pick one up now though. Good going guys.
 
I'd like to see a rail system that extends past the gas block, if not on all 4 sides then at least sides/bottom. With the current top rail I find my hand wrapping over the end of the gasblock, it's too short.

How does the Burris work on the rail? It seems like since its so close to the piston it would get rattled pretty hard from the recoil, and might even get mucked up with carbon?

Seems like a very nice co-witness though.

So far so good. It could be moved forward i guess. It cant be mucked up with carbon though as the hand guard vents down and at the front.

:agree: An extended rail would be excellent...it would also make the non-restricted barrel look shorter. ;)

I think I'm going to get a top rail for now...bottom hand-guard/rail...maybe.

It's a real nice setup, but too expensive to make. It also required drilling/tapping the receiver and gas block.

Built like a tank though, But still real light.
