Nothing's Sacred: Big Red and Teddy49 have a MWS Painting Party

Nice to see you guys painting your rifles and not keeping them for showroom conditions.

I don't know. Government property where it's a long term loan and painting it might help save your life is one thing. But I could never do that to one of my rifles. I like them in showroom condition.

Cool project. Thanks for sharing.

I'm not "that" guy, but I do have a question.

Did you paint these at a range? Cause isn't it against the law to have your restricteds outside the dwelling. Since your not transporting it under your ATT that is?

Oh, and they look great by the way. Wanna do a SR-22 for me in black and red!? :D

seriously guy?

Pulled in case the fun police show up.

Yup, cause every-time I do something on the edge of the law I always take pictures of it and post it on a site that we all know is monitored. Then I blame the "Fun Police" when they hint (actually I asked since I wasn't sure) at me not to do that. God F**king forbid.

WTF??? All I saw was a couple of AirSoft rifles.

On another note Holy post whor# Major Sights, 1100 post's in a year,

3-4 posts per day is being a whore? Especially since I had lots of questions when I first joined, as I was a new gun owner. I didnt know getting involved in the community was a bad thing.

You are calling out a member to confirm they followed the law. Who the f**k are you to assume they didn't? Of course they did we are the law abiding ones who follow the administrative nightmare to legally own firearms in this country. Why are you trying to trip someone up on a technicality?

Do you really think CGN is the home of gang bangers? Do you really think we are the ones who follow no laws, have no permits and shoot people for the smallest slight.

Major Sights you are not part of the community you are a pariah to it.

I am sure you wake up every morning and look at yourself in the mirror and think "I am not a dickwod" but you certainly quack like one...

I'm pissed the pics are down, I love it when guy's rattle can rifles. None of this fancy pant's $300 safe queen paint jobs.

Just call them Airsoft and put the pics back up and give more details.

Ah the internet . . . Its just a big ol' sea of hate bubbling up whenever you drop something you like into it.

I'd like to congratulate whoever dropped Arma and Rainbow Six as superior alternatives to CODBLOPSII

Yup, cause every-time I do something on the edge of the law blah blah blah

The pictures posted were of the ground and you decided to speculate on the location without any details, fearing the worst. Trying to inject some humor into your allegation doesn't absolve you of your obvious douchebaggery.

As an aside, I have have an email from the CFO of my province that it is perfectly fine to work on guns outside the residence, on the property.

i meant as in strip off the paint like a krylon on plastic grips and i found the answer is in fact yes using laquer thinner.

ok, last time I am going to post here. Sorry to derail this thread, but I did simply ask a question, I didn't presume you did this on your property I asked if you did it on a range. I mean re-read my original post, but try to understand, that I know very little about the resctricted laws and procedures (I only have PAL). I was simply asking a question.

Cause I was thinking "Damn, that must suck to pack all your gear up and take it to the range just to paint it.". Saying that you had special permission to work on your stuff on your property outside would have answered the question now wouldn't it? I am sorry that I am a hope for the best, and expect the worst kinda guy. And if you think I am a douchebag still, then guess what. I don't f**king care. I will never meet you, nor would I want to at this point.

The guns do look great though, I don't think I could ever do something that cool looking to my firearms with out messing something small up on it. Which would probably hate the mod for the rest of the time I owned it.

Then I suggest that perhaps you could have sent the OP in question a PM asking for the opinion. Or you could have gone to the legalese section and read many threads about the subject.

There was no reason to post it here, threre are literally a dozen different ways you could have gone about it the would have been less interfering and more informative.

and don't say that you will never meet, Big Red has access to the black helicopters.
