Nova Scotian should allow its residents to hunt Sundays.

It's not about the current church's influence over what other's do, it's about old Day of Rest laws that haven't changed yet. It doesn't happen over night.

Wasnt me saying it was about the Gun Fire Noise but if it is to the Churches then this would be a Very viable solution đź‘Ť

Or because they don't want to change them. Because they're stuck in their ways. Mom does some craft and other stuff at a church group. Often when anything with change gets brought up. It is people older than her saying this is how we always did it and this is how it will be done. So mom being like me, will go out and do it differently and everybody but the old people in charge, loves the change.

BTW Mom is 68.

Mom was also told by the pastor when asked, why not voulenteer for the church? She said spent my whole life helping others and putting others first. Im focusing on myself now. He said that is shelfish.

I tried to get NS to allow airguns for small game hunting. Basically got told someone might use a red ryder. Yet someone can use those 400 fps 22 and take a inhumane shot and be legal as the laws a vague.
 
The same reason why Nova Scotia outlawed spearfishing, metal detecting, and I am surprised magnet fishing is not subject to heavy fines. I am also surprised they have not banned the subsistence mackeral fishery, but the DFO controls that unless I am mistaken. That's possibly why it's not been banned.

They're all in it together. The Conservatives are the right wing of Liberal government.
Good luck with hunting Sundays when your province mandates climate lock downs
 
Two separate times I’ve had CO’s explain how it’s an old school law created to give people a day to wander in the woods without having to worry about being shot. Started before gun training was common and risk of injury was higher.

Makes sense. Much more than religious reasons to me anyways.
