NR 3 gun options?

It must be nice to take posts with information into account that were made after my comment as a means to discredit my opinion on the limited information at hand when I made it known

No, nice would be you gathering a bit more information before passing judgement on another shooter's abilities.

This thread has been sidetracked enough already. Let's get back on topic.

my comment was in reply to another posters comment, they should be the one you should be directing questions at if you do not like the direction their comments have taken the thread

In polite discussions it would be customary to compliment someone on their performance, whether it was flawless or not so much, or say nothing at all. You don't hear people at matches going "man you really didn't shoot that well, all those misses on the far targets!". Hence my response to your comment, as opposed to 8 ball's...

Still waiting on your contribution to the thread as far as a rifle choice goes...

At least I understand where you are coming from now, must be a generation thing as giving compliments on performance regardless of how good or bad ones performance was didn't happen when I grew up. Constructive criticism drove people to excel/do better and it worked very well

to what end? did I say you made a poor choice? I have no clue on the potential of the MV in my hands or anyone elses for that matter

I'm with Brian46 offering compliments where they weren't/aren't earned is nothing more than a participation ribbon and celebrating failure. No need to trash talk a guy but the performance in the video was not stellar.

I must have missed the constructive part, perhaps you could point that out?

The end I am trying to guide you towards was the original point of the thread...

Look out, another tough guy! My performance wasn't the point of the thread haha.

One guy I competed against this summer used a mini 14. He did okay, but like most people using guns like that, SKS rifles etc. There doing it mostly for fun.

unless you have some big sponsors and you get paid to spend 9 hours at the range to practice your shooting, we're all doing it for fun, really... A lot of people forget that.
So yah id love to see a garand competing against ARs that would be frigging awesome, with some fast nclips loading and some ziiiinng sounds.

someone else pointed the thread in that direction, maybe question his motives as well so you do not appear biased only questioning those who saw the comment for what it was.

I would if my comment had been directed at you, but I was questioning another poster as to what he saw

we must have had similar upbringings.

to be fair... 750 rounds is nothing.
7500 with no issues is perhaps another matter.
agreed, when you look at the proving ground tests of some rifles like HK doing over 20,000 rnds, that is reliability and durability on a whole other level

Since you guys liked that first video so much... here's another!

Couple extra shots with the rifle and the pistol, and a little bobble on the shotgun top up so I guess a pretty poor performance overall. Guess I'll hit the range for some more practice!

Damn... start of that video makes it look like I could stand to lose a couple pounds too... c'est la vie.

I have the rifle already... so I intended to supply it... you have the ammo?
I can go pick it up as soon as I know you are coming, do you want to stop at 20,000rnds or keep going? I think ATRS would also be interested in seeing this torture test recorded.

Might actually have to get a retailer on board with this as im sure some sort of legal limit of gunpowder in my possession would be exceeded if not
