Don't fool yourself... The registry in Ottawa, where the firearms techs work still has a record. You were talking to the gals in miramici.
Who cares, he could have sold it and they can't prove anything.

I went with the Green Mountain barrel. Asked Herron about going with something better like Krieger and he said he has used green mountain for many half moa or better builds (not ACR's though). I am excited to get it back. I have a new rifle length hand guard, Geissele SSA-E, a stack of 50 BW mags and 2 moa micro ready to throw on it! All I need to figure out is what sling I am going to use.
It took the RCMP about 8+ weeks to reclassify my ACR to NR and my paperwork was submitted by Ian. Man was i glad i got it done while i still can, especially whats happening in the news now!!
Not sure if you get the original back, or really why you'd want it.
wasnt sure if he moved the hardware over or ordered new hardware. With the ACR that is kind of the benefit, the quick change barrel system. so if you kept all the original barrel setup you could quick change between the two. ie. if one were to run a carbine course or something they'd probably switch it over to teh 16" barrel for teh day, as the SS barrels have a much lower round count barrel life.

i was under the impression that the rule was 30 days.
