I bet that grizzled old bugger has banged a lot of females (or at least tried). The buck has likely been around too.

Well, I couldn't lift him to hold his head up! And none of us had a camera in the field, unfortunately, for a hero shot when we found him. I did have a camera in my tote box with my bow-hunting clothing, but had taken it out for something or other (probably to take a picture of a gun!) But honestly, a bare-back shot is more my style............ :p

Once I get the rack back from the taxidermist I will get it scored for sure.

His chest was 82 inches, measured with my fish measuring tape. :cool:

Great buck and a great story Doug, I however could have read that story with out the poop ferry part, but then it would not have the "smell" of authenticity to it coming from Doug!!

Guys, Doug is a good friend of mine, and I saw this deer hanging in his garage. It is HUGE! He has a neck on him like a pony, and the rack is simply awesome! Congrats to you good buddy! You deserve it.
