I agree wholeheartedly with your antiqueguy!
I have been shooting some vintage ammo for some time now , some from my father's estate, and some I picked up along the way.
I flipped when I first found some 20 gauge papers, figuring we would have some fun wit pheasants and ruffies, and I could reload the hulls - WRONG!
Most of them got in holes just like trying to hand load my paper Federal and Gamebore hulls black powder.
However, the older factory stuff still hit like a ton of bricks and is still fun t shoot- we have some that is loaded with maximum drams equiv. of powder and 1 5/8 oz of shot in 12 gauge, and some big 20 gauge loads of 1 1/8 oz of 4's for example and heavier for example.
They sure hit hard on both ends ! LOL
