Opinions sought -Norinco HP-9

As I mentioned in the earlier post...I bought mine because the quality was as good if not better then the original, and the money I saved I could put into other extra features that I wanted in a short "tactical" style shotgun to fit the many jobs I have for it.

If it makes you feel better to spend more money for something then go for it. :D

Just watch...you can bet that the 10/22 will be the next copy that China cranks out. :D
Let's face it you bought it because it was cheap. If you don't want to admit it that's fine.

Price was cheap, quality not so cheap. :D

Now if your hinting that I'm cheap, then yah so what?
I don't have money tree planted in my backyard like some folks.

And $800 saved goes into allot more goodies. :D

You saved $800 what were you considering buying instead of the Norinco? That must be some special 870.

Are you saying you can buy a Remington with a 14" barrel for $340 CND in Canada?

Lets see your source on this.

The bottom line is that the Norinco is just as good as an 870 Express, it's less expenive, and if you want a 14" barrell, it is the on;y easy option...

Remington doesn't mae it easy for us to get 14" barrell shotguns, thier QC has been going down the ####ter for some time, so.....;)

Norinco-Plinko fun

Don't buy ONE HP Whatever !

Buy TWO of them ! At least I am. My son needs a shorty for tree planting up north. Yeah, I'm a Remington fan, but when they (whoever cranks up the price of 14" barrels) make it difficult for me to obtain a legal 14" tube, I'll just exercise my freedom to buy a Kommie bangstick.

My after - tax 2 cents worth.

Hungry here: Don't mean to hijack this thread, but he's getting in touch with the 'other' side of himself and someone has got to know how to defend the other tree-huggin' granola eaters from the kinder and gentler Ontario (Spring Bear Hunt Banned) black bears. When his planting bosses interviewed him, "Do you know how to shoot a shotgun?" was asked. His answer was , "Buckshot or slugs? I'm used to shooting steel plates and clay birds." Next question: "Do you have a PAL ?", his answer , "Restricted or non-Restricted?".... That's my boy.
