Opinions??TIKKA T3 Lite Rifles

Midway actually shipped something to Canada!!!!!!!!!!!!!The US State Dept would not let them ship me a new .54 GM blackpowder barrel even to D Henry who had all the right papers! A hawken is ideal for taking down low flying aircraft......................................Harold

I think the T-3 shows that a good selection of interesting chamberings, in a new, reasonably priced rifle will sell.

Personally i don't like the fit, the feel or the look(triggers were ok).

I have a T3 lite in .300 WSM. Quality build, dead acurate. smoothest action around (Ok, so maybe Sako is better) Bit pricey for spare mags ($65-$100). Definitly will kick your teeth out. I put a limb saver on mine and now the recoil is managable. Come back T3... all is forgiven!

I have a T3 Lite Stainless in .223 and really like it. It's more accurate than I am.

I just bought a Tikka T3 laminate/stainless in .22-250 that i'm really impressed with. Very accurate and one of the smoothest actions around.

have a lite in 30-06 recoil is an issue in such a light gun. Deadly accurate and ball bearing smooth. Limbsaver is a must if you tenderize easily. I would not hesitate to buy another.

Right now the Tikka is the best deal out there. Allot of rifle for what you are paying. They have the same barrel as the Sako 85. Which has the best steel of any factory firearm. Guarantee of a three shot group under an inch or they do not leave the factory.Go buy one you will not regret it.

I was looking at one of these but having shot a light gun in the same caliber put me off. So I got one in a Varmint series and put on the Limbsaver pad as well. An extra 2 pounds of gun can make a huge difference. Took it out today, so far sweet trigger and bolt, fits me like a glove. Only tried one factory load and I'm happy with the results so far but expect it to improve. Recoil is not an issue and is very enjoyable to shoot.

My Tikka T3 is great. I have a 300wsm. Accurate out of the box. I hand load a 165 grn TSX at 3030 FPS MV shooting MOA and half MOA when I'm doing my job. The light weight is great on long hunting days humping the bush. It recoils hard on the bench but a limbsaver recoil pad helps and I don't notice it hunting. I think it's a great gun.
