Opinions??TIKKA T3 Lite Rifles

I have a T3 lite in .300 WSM. Quality build, dead acurate. smoothest action around (Ok, so maybe Sako is better) Bit pricey for spare mags ($65-$100). Definitly will kick your teeth out. I put a limb saver on mine and now the recoil is managable. Come back T3... all is forgiven!

x2...

bought one for my father last christmas in 270win and after handling it for a few days over christmas, i liked it so much i went and bought one for myself in 300wm. put a recoil pad on it and it seems to kick less then dads 270.

as for accuracy, i can consistantly hit a empty 20 lb propane tank at 620 yards with handloads and a bipod, more then good enough for me.

My Tikka T3 is great. I have a 300wsm. Accurate out of the box. I hand load a 165 grn TSX at 3030 FPS MV shooting MOA and half MOA when I'm doing my job. The light weight is great on long hunting days humping the bush. It recoils hard on the bench but a limbsaver recoil pad helps and I don't notice it hunting. I think it's a great gun.

So what's your recipe?
Thanks

I have nothing bad to say about them, they are accurate, they funtion.

I guess you can discount the looks, but one issue I do have with them all is they are hard as hell to get bedded back in place!

I have a T3 Battue lite 9.3x62 very accurate,270 grain Speer bullets at 2400 fps= healthy recoil....I love this gun!!!

my only t3 is in 300 wsm and i don't find it bad to shoot. thought about changing the pad but don't think its worth it. not sure i would want one in 338 but you never know.

I've had Tikka since 91 and even at -40c the bolt just slides out and super accurate. Now I wanted a new one in .223 and looked at all the brands out there and had a feel of all that was in the stores and just couldn't find a smoother action. So went and got a T3 in .223 and it rocks. I'd like to try something else but I keep coming back.

In my limited experience Ive never seen a smoother action than a tikka. I looked at a rem 700 today and it felt awkward by comparison.

I have a Tikka hunter .308 and it's easily my favorite rifle.
Extremely versatile.
The trigger and the action are both smooth and the accuracy is excellent.
I don't think I'll be selling that one

I was in Wholesale sports last weekend fully intending to buy a savage with accutrigger. They didn't have any in stock but the salesman brought out a Tikka T3 in 300 win mag for me to take a look at. One pull of the trigger pulling at 3 lbs and I was in love. Bolt is super smooth and I like the safety system. I put a limbsaver recoil on it so hope it helps with kick. I took a Bushnell rainguard 3-9 scope and all cost in including sling and ammo $1200. I hope to shoot it this weekend.
