Some guy on Facebook is trying to sell his BCL 102 for $4000.

All I can think is.. these are NOT $4000 rifles.

Supply and demand and all, what a crock.

Or you could do what everyone else these days does.... email them expressing interest

As with most sought after items available in limited numbers... There will always be a certain number of guys that will get in on a deal, with no intent other than flipping the item @ a higher price.

The ONLY thing folks can do is walk on... Frustrating for sure, but I would not pay 4K when the MSRP is less than half that.

Cheers

Anyone who pays $4000 for an NEA product is a fool, these are not some limited run collectors rifle, supply simply hasn't caught up to demand yet. Give it a couple more months and they'll be on the EE for $1500.

You could always lowball him with a $1000 offer reminding him that they are $2000 new and the next batch will be along shortly followed by another followed by another. By spring I bet there won't even be a waiting list, and if they don't get their consistency up so everyone is getting a good rifle instead of it being a bit of a gamble the demand will drop even faster.

Are you sure he actually has one? Sounds like a scam to me.

I would just be patient, there will be plenty of rifles from the second pre-order popping up on the EE here.

I have already seen 2 for sale on the EE for just less than MSRP (I guess the guys were nice or some such). If you keep your eye out you could nab one I am sure. Honestly, if you can get a used XCR-M for under 2Gs I would go for that if you don't want to wait.

Only guy I've seen asking $4000 was making a joke when someone begged for one with "cash in hand" and he offered his up for $4000....obviously not wanting to sell it but if someone is desperate enough for one why not capitalize? I've got a second preorder FDE coming. As much as I'm excited and have a pile for custom parts either here or in transit, I'd still sell if for the right price to someone with enough 'desire' for one.

I love it when guys hate capitalism, if you don't like the price move on, it is someone else's property to do with are they see fit, and that includes selling for what ever price they want. It's business not personal,

And just like that I had a guy offer me quite a bit more than I paid for my BCL102...

REALLY struggling with this one boys! ARGH!

Thumbs up to this.
Free country he can do whatever he likes, at the end of the day he will either be stuck with it or a fool will be parted from his money

Report him, you are not allow to sell firearms or serialize receivers on Facebook.

Really... I mean you would report him. Who cares what Facebook has to say. If they smoke his firearms post so be it , but you reporting him Lawfully selling a firearm is a bit of a b!tch move. Who cares if he's asking $10,000 for it. It's his to sell for whatever anyone is willing to pay legally. Man.. this place never ceases to amaze.

If you see something say something.....
I think you’ve had a bit to much to think......“thought police”
