FINALLY!!! Only took 3 months!!

My Dad and I both did our course at the same time, I sent both our paperwork in at the same time and they marked them as received Jan 12/10 I got my pal 2 weeks ago and Dad's still says in progress.... lol and he is pretty pissed about it!
 
Mine took nearly 5 months to get. WHY? its the government and you have to babysit them. Apparently my name was flagged for some reason, but no one told me this of course. I got tired of waiting. If took a couple days, but after calling several different locations and tracking down which office had my paper work, the lady asked me if I lived at the residence on my application????? Of course I do. I had my PAL 1 week later.

Lesson to all newbs : watch your application closely, if you haven't recieved it in the 45 days they tell you, Get on the phone and track it down. No point waiting like I did.
 
Don't wait 45 days to call. Keep a copy of your app. and send it registered. Watch for delivery date to NB.
If it isn't online within a week (it won't be) then call to inquire whether it has been received. Chances are that the next day it will be in initial processing and appear online.

Sent it on feb 2nd, received on feb 5th.
Completed and mailing back on March 5th, exactly the 28 day min waiting period!

So hoping they mailed it today!
