PAL Wait Time

Does your status on the Individual service website says that it's approved? I called the CFP office today and they told me that the license is approved (gave me the license number as well). But said dont know when it will go to the printers for printing. My status still says, "We have completed the initial review...". Submitted application Jun-24
I just got off the phone with them, they told me that it is in line for printing but are unsure when it will get printed. However, my online status was updated last Thursday indicating the licence is approved and issued…I figured issued implies that it is on its way in mail…
This morning my status changed to License issued . If I don’t receive in 2 weeks call them. My 28 days ended yesterday. I guess they take 28 days from when your references sign the online request and not from the day you submitted your application. Well I just have to wait for the mail man now

I applied online on June 12 and references signed same day. Application was approved and sent to printers on July 11. The wait time for printing sounds like it’s a few weeks. This is for Ontario

I sent a follow up email to CFO yesterday, I get the answer back today asking me to submit shooting club membership for renewal of my license !!!!
I replied to mention that this is my first RPAL/PAL and not a renewal, waiting for their clarification

oh boy … great system in placeLady from CFO office called me today and insisted that I have to get the membership from a shooting club. I called the club and they told me that they need RPAL first and also mentioned that there is one person in administration made this confusion. I replied back to CFO and explained the situation. Also I called CFP and a lady there listened to me and put note in my file and agreed that membership before RPAL is not possible. she asked me? do you have a gun???? I answered "no. I want to get one after getting my PAL/RPAL"
very confusing. I will be waiting for their call or email
Lady from CFO called me now and apologized for the confusion and told me that the hold point has been removed and application will be continued for process.
They were thinking that I own a firearm, How? I do not understand

In Ontario there seems to be an issue with printing delays. When it says your application has been approved, you need to allow 3 weeks for printing then up to 2 weeks for Canada post to deliver. My app was approved 3 weeks ago and card was only printed at the end of this week. I called and they gave me all the details.
