PAL Wait Time

In Ontario there seems to be an issue with printing delays. When it says your application has been approved, you need to allow 3 weeks for printing then up to 2 weeks for Canada post to deliver. My app was approved 3 weeks ago and card was only printed at the end of this week. I called and they gave me all the details.
That kinda sucks :( Do you know if all the Cards are printed in one place. Or each province has their own print shop

Is there anyway to tell if it’s been printed (other than calling)? My status shows approved and issued. The mandatory 28 day waiting time was over July 24. I checked status yesterday and it says approved and issued.

Lady from CFO office called me today and insisted that I have to get the membership from a shooting club. I called the club and they told me that they need RPAL first and also mentioned that there is one person in administration made this confusion. I replied back to CFO and explained the situation. Also I called CFP and a lady there listened to me and put note in my file and agreed that membership before RPAL is not possible. she asked me? do you have a gun???? I answered "no. I want to get one after getting my PAL/RPAL"
very confusing. I will be waiting for their call or email
Finally:
Your application has been processed and your licence has been issued. If you have not received your licence within 2 weeks please contact the Canadian Firearms Program Toll Free number (1-800-731-4000).
After 66 days since all signatures completed

I don’t believe so. I called.

I applied for my pal and it said it was submitted for processing on June 25th and I checked today it still says application successfully submitted any ideas how long this will take I seen some guy said it didn’t even tell him it was issued and he received it in the mail is that normal?

mine took about 7-8 weeks from the point I filed to me receiving it in the mail. Sometimes mails just slow

Same, QC RPAL application, they received on 21/02 and nothing happened afterwards... I called the RCMP last Wednesday and she told me it's in final step. If it's not issued in 4-6 weeks I should call back. I asked whether I could provide any further information and she said not required. Non of my reference got called apparently
Update: 29/07 license issued. Took 5 months for the RPAL in QC

I was about 8 months after submitting my application to the RCMP for my PAL in Ontario

Submitted mid June, recieved license in February the next year. Calling the RCMP and my local CFO did not speed up anything for me, I was told "everything checks out we are just behind on our end"

I submitted my PAL application online on July 2 via the individual web services. The application was viewable online the next day. The status changed to "processed and license issued" the day after my 28 day waiting period was up!

I do have NATO secret security clearance for work and one of my references was a senior RCMP member. Could this have effected my application being completed so quickly or did I just get lucky?

I had the exact experience. My status was updated on the 29th day. I am still waiting for the card to arrive, today marks 2 weeks since license issued. I inquired with the CFP last Tuesday; my ID was in line for printing.

Same here. Almost 4 weeks since the status changed and no card has arrived in the mail. At the two week mark I called and I was told I was in queue to print and to give it a max of 4 more weeks before calling again. This printing and mailing seems to be the new bottle neck.

Damn, I really thought I was just waiting for the card to get here. I heard a rumor that there's only one license printer, like one physical machine, that prints all licenses for the entire country. Seems to be ringing true in this thread.

I think we should start calling on a daily basis.

Exact same issue as you guys above. License status changed to "issued" on July 8th. Called on the 24th and was told it was in line for printing and that I should wait until at least the end of August before being concerned.
