Panzer M4 Speed Pro thread

Hard to say as I never looked at the o rings before.
I just got back from firing 50 target loads through it. So will inspect shortly here and report back the condition of the current rings.
Ones in it now are just basic black bulk pack rings.

I ordered vitron ? O rings. Supposed to withstand heat a little better.

Size of o ring from what I can find is #011
Some more info on o rings here

After taking it apart once again.
I think it’s disassembling it that does the most damage.
Maybe it’s the material these orings I tried were.
But think I’m just gunna keep some sets on hand and swap as required.
I will not be taking the gas system apart this frequently. As this time was just “to see”
I will put the higher heat ones in once they arrive.

Honestly looking at the thing. It will work without orings haha.

Another 75 target loads today.
It didn’t like the challenger with the aluminum color base. I have many boxes and the “brass” portion differs a lot on them it seems.
When me and Fred0000 had it out the other day we shot challeneger target loads no problem. Along with 25 challenger slugs too.
But today. Was seeing double feeds and failure to extract. The lip on the shells were very rounded from what I could tell.

Old lady found the missing gas oring on the floor today. So it didn’t disintegrate it. It looks like it tore apart when was removed.

So for me. I will only take apart the gas system when I feel it’s time to clean. And have orings on hand just incase.

you might do a bit of preemptive spraying of CLP into the gas piston system before you try removing the pistons. the other issue is you might take a look into the bore that the piston rides in, it might be a bit rough. nothing a little bit of fine sandpaper in a cleaning kit slotted jag chucked in a drill won't cure. keep us posted.

The orings are stationary unless being installed or removed. They go in through the threaded portion and it’s a tight squeeze. YouTube disassembly vids will show what I mean.

If i tilt the shotgun back and forth you can hear the pistons slapping forward and back.
That has nothing to do with it

Had time before work and took 2 boxes of challenger target loads out. One box had brass coloured shells and one was aluminum.
Not 1 issue. Ran them all great.
Bad batch of shells maybe the other day. Who knows.

Such a fun shotgun to shoot. Hope to hear more feedback from more members here haha

Looking to replace the front sling mount with a QD style but, having a hard time finding anything. Any suggestions? GG&G seems to show one but unobtanium at this time it appears.

Source ? I cannot find anything associating the 2

I’ve order the s&j mag tube extension. Hopefully it fits on no issue.
Guess we’ll find out

Just look up Saricam Arms on YouTube. You’ll see the M4 Speed Pro.

Panzar Arms is just what it’s re-branded as over here in North America.

Ahhhh cause it looks the same. Makes sense.

Not a viable source imo.

Their catalogues are almost identical, and has models, like the M4 Speed Pro, that other Turkish manufacturers don’t have.

I’m not saying it’s 100%, but if I had to bet on which Turkish factory Panzar Arms comes from, it’d be Saricam Arms.
