Parker hale m82-m87-C3-C3A1 Rifles

Can someone educate me on the C3a1 scope base ring diameter?? I'd like to find a good scope to put on and also see if my Mark 4 might already fit (30 mm tube).

C3a1 is a very unique fabrication. It's was a miltiary contract order, one piece base and 1" rings. Only fits the M87/C3a1 receiver. There ain't very many of these out in the civie world. There's a picture posted of this base in about the mid of the thread.

You need to first determine which action you're built on or building on. Bases need to be selected to corrindate with the rings and scope selected. Mark 4 could be used on a clone if rings/bases selected to be compatible with your receiver.

Looks nice!

I see what you mean about your barrel - wrong profile - but still a nice looking effort!

Enjoy her, and thanks for sharing.

Cheers, Carl

Thanks Carl.Ill keep my eye out for a 1200TX barrel.Im also looking for a scope and sight green canvas carrying case.

Congratulations on one of the nicest C3 kits I've seen in a long time. Stock and metal work are outstanding. Bolt looks like the real McCoy, most clones just have a sporter bolt. Detail really makes the gun. I see that you've got C3 steel scope bases, PH RALS.4 rings and the rare ZF69 scope as well as the military irons. You're one lucky guy!

I really need to get some pictures of the C3s we have at the office. One is brand new! And it would be good source of info for those wanting to make a replica. I'll try to get some next week!

Well, this needs a bump to see whats been going on in the world.

Anybody build anything else since hibernation set in - lol!

Seeing as the shooting season is upon us, I thought I'd see what all the C3/C3A1 CGN's have been upto.

All the best, Carl
