I still don't know. I just put it together and had no time to go to the range just yet. This Adams Arms upper is brand new to me. I have been using my 10.5in piston driven POF and it's been running absolutely flawlessly. I'm hoping the 7.5in piston driven AA will do the same.

Roger that - details??? How's it run???

Here are the details on this particular build...

Complete RRA Lower
G27 Pistol Grip
Magpul CTR
RRA Winter Trigger Guard
MI End Plate Adapter Slot
7in RRA Upper
YHM 4in Aluminum Free Float
Aluminum Tactical Grip (can't remember the brand)
Surefire X200
MI Front and Back BUIS
Vortex Flash Hider
Custom Paint

It was actually very nice to shoot.

How long is this barrel? It looks very short. Bet it was NASTY to shoot. ;)

who stocks non-piston SBR uppers? I'm primarily looking for complete upper with barrel no longer than 11.5" with low pro gas block. Don't need bolt or charging handle. I see Questar stocks the diablo style in a piston. and dlask has the minimoose,

I've seen the RRA 7.5 on this thread. who stocks that?
What other retailers have the SBR uppers?

We make 7.5" and longer barrels, uppers obviously are not a problem as we make them as well, and stock other makers uppers to build on.
Email us with a specific wish list and we would be happy to help you in any way we can.

I suppose the lower AR here is some kind of PDW-type thing.

Upper pic: CMMG semi-auto M4-type carbine. 14.5" stepped barrel, bayonet lug, etc. Came from Questar. All completely bone-stock except for the A.R.M.S. mount and the 3x ACOG Compact with the red cross hairs. This is one of the firearms that I have gotten the most use and the most enjoyment out of over the past two years. I would be hard pressed to come up with something bad to say about it.

Lower pic: RRA 7.5" barrel 9mm pistol. Also comes from Questar. Is marked "Pistol Only" and "9mm NATO" on the receiver. Originally came with no stock. Added the RRA aluminum quad rail, the extension tube and Magpul stock, Magpul grip on the front, EOtech and MI buis. The front one is backwards... true... but it cannot be folded down if it is turned around (due to the position of the quad rail vs. the gas block) so I leave it like this. The Hogue grip comes standard from RRA.

RRA originally looked more like this (lower one, obviously):

My RRA 11.5" AR with the follow accessories:
-Larue 10" free floating handguard
-Magpul Stock and Pistol Grip
-Tango Down Stubby forward grip
-Burris FFII 1.75-5x 20mm Optic (just replaced my Strikefire Red Dot with this, I realize it is camo and will probably change it at some point but I got a great deal on it)
-BCM Gunfighter Charging Handle
-If wanted/needed I have my JetBeam USA flashlight that I can mount on as well but generally do not have it on...

Also I realize my flash hider isn't on properly but I just tossed it on quickly without proper spacing washer or whatever it is called haha (I am looking for something different from the A2 Birdcage.)
