They seem to have backed down from the policy, probably after the complaining about the policy.

I comprehended your post just fine. You made a mistake or misread NEA's site/facebook page. I got the pop up message on my phone and literally ordered it within three minutes of the notification. There was no international only stipulation. In fact the the original message is still up there. Perhaps you are the one who needs to "try reading again."

The RED laser does get in the way of my hand. But I dont use the RED, I use the Green. Hence it works great ! The KAC is set up for right hand shooters. And until Im called up to do a tour with JTF2, Im good with the way its set up for now.

When you do get called up for that tour, you'll be told to do it Big Red's way, just like everyone else.

Keeps the dbal out of the fov and the balance farther back. If you're gripping the FA with the thumb over grip the dbal would be in the way if you had it up front. This also allows the thumb to activate the switches which are for a tac light not currently mounted. At least that's how I was taught.

You were taught correctly.
