Word is that there is 10,000#s of powder awaiting clearance to be distributed across the nation.... Nothing on caps though. Saw 2000 to 2400 caps for sale at Heffley rendevous all have been sold by 2 today to various shooters.
I use #11 on my Pieta 1862 with no problem
I have a bunch of antique caps as far back as the 1870's recently I've using RWS caps from the 60's still work fine, The empty boxes are collectable The problem is caps can't be mailed or I'd put some up for sale
Any issues getting the priming compound across the border?
It's preferable to use the correct size caps as they seal the nipple to prevent chain fires.
Most multiple discharges are from the blast at the nipple getting to cylinders with loose caps or where they have fallen off.
No, but be prepared for a 3-4 week wait, the dude is quite busy
I ordered #10 and 11 tap-o-cap kits and 3 bags of priming compound off that .22lr sharp shooter and it took about 2 weeks to arrive here in 100mile house. I haven’t even opened the packaging yet.
