The Bay?? LOL Oh how times have changed. That's a keeper.

Back in '76 my father purchased a lovely Winchester mod70 hvy bbl varmint in 222 from the Bay. I still have it.

Back in the day you could purchase rifles from the Eatons and Simpsons catalogues. I recall looking at them as a child, so must have been into the 60s.

The gaslighting left can blow me when they say we never had a gun culture in Canada!

Yep Canada certainly did have a firearms and hunting culture that has been decimated under successive liberal governments. Pierre Trudeau, Jean Chrétien, Alan Rock, Justin Trudeau, Bill Blair, Marc Mendicino et al have done their best to destroy it since the 1970s.

Eatons , Marshall Wells , Macleods , CO-OP , Home Hardware , CDN Tire
every little general store in Canada...

Bought my first rifle from Super S Drugs in Calgary and even the Drug Store in High River sold guns and ammo. Have gun powder here with 2:50 price tags and primers for 85 cents . 22 caliber Hornet bullets for a 1:75. Course made like a dollar and hour in those days.

a few more, Shotgun this time

I know it isn't ammo. But I just used up the last of my dad's old CCI SP that was tagged 39¢ a pkg. White elephant in Spokane. Probably mid 70's vintage.
