Heres one for ya, RCN rifle team 1927, key things to note are the rifles are all No. 1 Mk. 3* and they all look next to new. Also note there is only 3 Seamen who are not officers on the team.

 
These are WESAs (Werner Sassman) from the Czech Rep, Continentals and Dekas are available but cost huge and these get the job done nicely plus have a slightly deeper tread.
True story. When it was time to mount the tires on the wheels I took one of each in to one of my customers who does tires to ask if he could mount them as the tires have a weird double bead and the centre of wheel is VW with the lobs for the wheel bolts. I open the back of the truck and the fellow takes one look at them and asks (NOTE: this is best said with a Middle East accent as the fellow is from Lebanon). "My friend, My friend what is this off of ? a schwimmwagen??" I sputter out why yes they are and how did you know what they go on?? (NOTE again: best said with a ME accent) My friend, my friend I have been doing this (tire work) for the past 35 years and I constantly look at tires and makes" he went on that even walking through a mall parking lot he eyeballs treads and makes. I knew I had the right man for the job at that point and also though he should get a job IDing tire patterns for the RCMP/police somewhere as how a guy from the middle east knew instantly what it was for sort of blew me away.
 
Your customer is a true "specialist", an expert in his field.

In the best of all possible worlds, he could act as a consultant, but he'd likely lack the credentials to be accepted as an "expert witness" in court.
