Picture of the day

Not quite the same thing. Humans caused and fight the wars in which the animals are starved, beaten, blown up and worked to death. In the case of horses, they would have been just as happy to be pulling wagons or plows on a farm instead of artillery and war materiel. They were enlisted in a war they didn't start or want to fight in.

The human "innocents" are all guilty by association with the species that wages total war, wholesale slaughter and annihilation, unheard of in the animal world. And no, I'm not an animal rightist, just a lover of horses, dogs and other creatures, great and small.

Well, that and the women and children. And maybe babies in their cribs. And maybe old people in rocking chairs. Or even the kindergarten teacher that gets blown to bits by a stray bomb while doing art classes with 4 year olds. But yah, the animals to.

Sadly you miss understood. Human factor is a given in war because we are the ones committing the act. Both sides know innocent lives are at stake. Each sides women and children like you mentioned, yet we end up fighting. But the animals are truly innocent because they have no association. I know what your saying and off course agree, however you must think openly enough to realize how important all life is. Again not dissagreeing with your train of thought, just not where I was at the time. Cheers

Totally understood. I just grieve for humanity. We keep doing the same damned thing over and over. And everybody and everything sufferes for our collective stupidity.
