Picture of the day

Carl captured a Jap 150mm Type 5 AA gun. He duffle cut it for the ride home, and made some handloads for plinking:

^ then why is his right foot at the base of the round? And the shadow of the man and the round are in line, even the shadow of the person taking the pic is in it.

I wonder what that round is actualy for,naval/coastal prhaps?I wouldn't want to man handle it inside a tank turret by myself.lord thundering jezus

Looks like aunt Vivianne hunting moose( she was not a handsome lady). What a cheek weld.

Dispatch riders were meant to burn rubber not landsers.

Maybe a bet? "Sure I can hit that Jerry 500 yards away!"

Please inform me as to what aspect of your person have I insulted. Doubt you're the guy in the picture, we havn't had dispatch riders for many a years and I would be amusingly troubled that you identify to the name of Vivianne :)

So if I'm betting with the guy in the picture you're 90ish or more and as such I'll take the bet ( Jerry, however, will be pissed; he had a busy weekend coming up)
Cheers mate
