After much dialogue with a fellow forum member from Alberta I finally got a deal done on an early 1975 production M27-2 5 inch barrel. He purchased it as a graduation present for himself. MD Charton polished the guts, did the trigger work and shaved the forcing cone 11 degrees to cut back on lead pieces flying everywhere. The woods where taken off immediately, put away and the hogue was put on. I'm extremely happy with the revolver as I have been looking for a 5 inch barrel for a long time. He originally purchased it in a small pharmacy in the Praries. How times have changed. It is just an absolute delight to shoot. To me, just a nice as the Python I had and sold. A happy man I am.
