Pistol caliber Question

It also helps to take the time to post all relevant information available when asking questions.
A vague question with a bunch of replies asking for more details is great for long drawn out threads but getting to the point and posting as much information as you can about your question or issue is the best approach.
I may be at fault as I directed the OP to ask some questions here on the forum on this matter as he had PM'ed me with regard to the issue.
Since he was new, I thought I would be throwing him to the wolves, and it would appear they have come out as I suspected.
I hope he has been able to glean some insight and direction in spite of this.
Perhaps some of us could put our giant egos aside for and try to be helpful for a change...:bigHug:

The internet is for entertainment, information and ####. So obviously I know I can be subjected to insults and jokes ( because it's a source of entertainment) lol but I don't care because I got some good info that I can use to help make a more informed decision when the time comes.

It's all good!

How about the OP spend a few minutes and Google the subject himself rather than Coke here and expect someone else to just give him the answers? The Internet is the largest store of information ever assembled in human history and yet it seems to be making us dumber and more useless in our daily lives.

It's not your fault, unless you told TJ to ask vague questions and leave out relevant information and details.

I do look up stuff online ...a lot! But I find I can confirm the info and advice on here with people i sorta trust. U should take that as a complement ;)

I do and hope I was helpful in some way.
My spousal unit will attest to the fact that you have to put together the right question to get the answers you seek, and that's not always an easy thing. :p
Especially if one party is waiting to jump down your throat and start criticizing.
But good on ya for hanging in with it.

Life is for learning.
I'm sure TJ's question asking will improve eventually...... till then his questions come off as a bit lazy is all.

Agreed. Might be different if he actually shoot. But questions are still being asked about a 308 he yet to shoot and was last summer he started to ask about them.

I do ask a Lot of questions and frankly really Enjoy researching and learning about stuff before purchasing.Sometimes I annoy myself with this character trait lol but I hardly ever waste money lol so
That's a positive lol

You don't say? sooner or later people are going to stop answering your questions and start telling you to google. But you hardly waste money because you barely shoot either.

lol, so you didn't by the $50.00 scout scope then eh....lol Cause that would be a waste of money lol.
if you annoy youself, lol you might jus find you annoy others as well..... lol.
That's a negative (no lol)

I'm waiting for replies on inquiries. I still might get that cheap scope lol

If I'm annoying YOU it's a positive , lol
In the end I'm learning much from my inquiries and that is my goal

lol, your not annoying me, lol. but if you were and you thought that was a positive you'd be a _______.
I can understand why others might find you annoying though.
Carry on , lol.

Lol.

Lol.

Lol... I don't get it. Lol... Nothing's happening.

Why's everyone typing "lol" throughout their posts? Is something magical supposed to happen? Lol. Lol. Lol. Nope. Nothing.

Gonna reboot and try again.

Well - considering you have little to no experience in shooting center-fire or semi-automatic rifles, and seem to have gaping holes in your knowledge of firearms, you may wish to reflect on this purchase for other reasons. Maybe its time to consider other hobbies that can be fun for a fellow your age, such as women and beer...

Women and beer aren't just for youngsters. They do reduce gun budgets though...

A couple years ago I was speaking with a mom in her mid 30's at a sporting event and she used "lol" in an actual live conversation ...... myself and a couple of friends that where with me almost lost our s h i t...... it was pretty funny and totally unexpected.
