Pistol case from CT....no pelican but not too bad

These are on sale for $20, and I'm always looking for a way to carry less **** with me to the range. It's aluminum, light weight, locks, has egg crate foam on top, thick pluck-out foam on the bottom. I should be able to fit 6 or more pistols in this #####....lot less pistol cases to lug to the range.

Yes that is it. It comes with the foam inside as well as the slots to make the compartments. The foam is sliced into rectangle boxes that you can tear out to create the holes for items to fit into. You should sort of be able to see it in my picture. The lid of the case has a pouch built into it, it's behind the solid layer of foam in my picture.
 
I have three of them, i pull all the foam out and put the guns in without the foam, I have pistol rugs (soft gun cases) for all my guns.
Then i can fit six guns in one case.
 
Yeah I've seen these cases too and they always seem to be "on sale" for $20. I actually considered one for my gun case too but the built in locks put me off. Still, that doesn't stop me from trying to come up with a reason to get one haha

When once did you go to? I know for a fact the CT on 64th ave has them on the top shelf of one of the tool aisles.

That's where we looked. Nothing like that to been seen. Asked a clerk as well, nada.

Weird, I always see those so I don't expect them to be out of stock. Oh well, the CT website shows Macleod as having them in stock.
 
How many pistols will I be able to get into this case? I'm getting tired of lugging two 4 packs and a 2 pack, back and forth from the range.

You could probably fit 10 medium size pistols vertically...I was thinking the same thing, how many can I jam in there...:)
