I just asked a guy to some drywalling at the house. Patch up few holes and add a bulkhead. I was quoted $5200 plus tax plus materials! This country is beyond fked. No end in sight. And it will only keep getting worse.
Tariffs are just a distraction for the insane gov taxation and theft in Canada. They fail in comparison. Combined with greed Canada is is going to the $hitter.

When I inquired about the shipping increase. It was well. UPS changes it policy without warning.

I hope you are right, but I am not expecting much. I know you guys that don't support the Libs hate it, but eastern Kanada as a group votes Lib and has throughout my lifetime. Sure, it's almost all Montreal and the GTA, but that is where all the seats are so the effect is the same in the end.

While i am a fan of lots of US things ( the constitution with all it’s warts is the biggest one for me) i am no fan of the donald or his crowd of #### lickers.
Having said that i have absolutely no doubt that carny and crew are leaning into this as hard as they can for politics. There hasn’t been a gift this juicy for the liberal party in 2/3s of 4/5s of forever.

Not at the moment. They weren't part of the recent Canadian imposed tariffs. But, they aren't getting cheaper anyway, so take advantage of any sales your lgs has or site sponsors.

The only problem with this is a financial one..We are ignoring on purpose the largest buying economy in the world right on our border.. It does not matter if the bulk of CDN's do not like Trump , if we refuse to make a Trade deal with the USA , we self-eliminate ourselves as country.. If our Gov't joins us to the EU it will be our downfall..The EU is going broke , wanting war with a superpower that can never be beaten.. And if we were to take orders from Brussels , CA would have to take in million's more criminal , ignorant , non-contributing migrants who drain resources away from our own needs and then demand we accept they're lifestyle rather than assimilate into our culture and society..
