What stock is that?
One more option for those with a lot of money, looking for a more boutique firearm; Range Warrior Accessories. They are again active. RWA was the first to make uppers with steel side panels for the bolt control group to run along, and they build each of their firearms with quality IBI barrels. They use NoDak SPUD 180 lowers for their complete firearms, but also make WK-180C compatible uppers. They make complete firearms and uppers in .223 Wylde, .300 Blackout, 7.62x39mm, and Grendel. When requesting a build, you can request a full rifle length gas system if you wish, to put the gas port away from your hand. They retail some of their products through Calgary Shooting Centre; currently a 300 Blackout full firearm and a 7.62x39mm WK-180C compatible upper are in stock.
I haven't seen any negative feedback regarding the RWA firearms and uppers. I'll post a thread to see if we can get any feedback regarding their products, either positive or negative.
Yeah that's why I was hesitating to purchase the WK180. Apparently the MSR solves this issue with screwed in steel inserts. I wish I could just shoot my AR's, they are such a superior design![]()
