PMAGs - where to buy?

The only place to buy PMags is in the good 'ol US of A. They are evil contraptions in Canada, and mysteryously jump in price by 600% when one crosses our border.

I will die, roll over in my grave before I buy a PMAG in Canada at any of the asking prices the guys want. For $12-$15 you can buy handfuls of them in the States, but due to export laws we can't bring them back.

Wow...you can get P-Mags for $12 to $15 in the US. I would like to know where.

In case you haven't noticed in the us but there has been a change of regime in the US and since there is worry of another assault weapon bill its darn near impossible to guy high cap mags, lowers, uppers barrels, LPKs etc

Check out what P-Mags are going for on Gunbroker . The scary thing is people are actually paying those prices

http://gunbroker.com/ ( search P-Mag )

Your theoretical price of $12 to $15 is BS . I had some US coworkers buy some ( waited 2 months ) and they had to choke up $20 to $25$

I picked up some Lancers last year for $16. Brownells ( who are not know to be Rapist as you call the sellers ) has them currently for $25

Taking the $20 US P-Mag = $25Cnd with current FX . PST / GST comming in you are at $30. By the time you #### with customs / brokerage ( depending on method of shipping ) it can be $10 to $40 for shipment

Don't forget about pinning as well. I know everyone thinks it can't be expensive because its so easy to do. The reality is finding someone who will do it in the US. The ones who do it don't do it for a buck a mag

All of a sudden the $50 P-Mag is not that unreasonable right now

Its real easy to be an armchair importer, but until you have done it ( with all the paperwork etc ) its a pain. I have the utmost respect for the guys like Mark and Questars, Wolverine etc who have to do this every day !

Lets say it cost me $35 Canadian when its all done. Why the hell would i sell it for $40 to make $5. That doesn't even pay my Starbucks in the AM. My time dealing with the paperwork is worth more than what measly profit I can make.
This is why I don't bother brining in AR parts for other people anymore. Not worth the hassle.

So...!? Firstly they're in Arizona (which is not a province), and secondly they're all out of stock... of all versions... so, so...!?

I'm guessing they opened the bag, and the cat was missing...

It does however indicate that gunbroker is not the place to buy much, if anything...

I am not importing mags! It's a reference to how much they are currently going for in the US compared to our over inflated rates.
$15 USD for 1 20 round PMag
$45 CAD for 1 20 round PMag
You tell me if there is any gouging going on there. As for the sarcastic remark referring to just leave me some. Means at 3 times the price people who purchase these mags are all on...

+1...

Heres what it says on the GMS Tactical website when you click on the Pmag....

GMS Tactical, LLC will only ship high capacity magazines to the following countries:

* United States
* Puerto Rico
* Canada

I don't get this. GMS Tactical is openly saying they are shipping high capacity magazines to Canada. Are they pinned???

It is not just Pmags. It is ALL Mags.
All these mags are $11-$13. But they are all $39+. Some $12 magazines even end up $55.
C Products sells magazine already pinned, listed legal for Canada. Why do their $12 mags end up $50 here? Should be a straight ship across the border???

And. P-Mags are worth $10. Those that pay more must believe they impart some super power. Spend the money on 10 round mags. More fun than any P-mag!!

Wrong, 10 round mags are still 10 round mags. They don't fit any mag pouches properly and they're far from reliable which the Pmags very much are. Then again, if you shoot from the bench with your AR twice a year, the 10 round garbage is just fine.... I love my Pmags, all 30, 40 or is it 50 of them? I can't remember.

50 magazines x $60 a pop = $3000 :eek:

If Magpul were to do this, what would make sense is a 10 round "pistol" mag in a 30 round body. I would imagine that they would sell in California and other places with lame mag restrictions as well.
