It also depends on what you're using it for. If your just punching paper I wouldn't change it. If its for hunting you could always do better.

I'm thinking of shooting from 50-100yrds with a savage or CZ 452 and I already own a 100$ bushnell 3x9 32mm. Is this scope worthy of such rifles or not? Thanks,
I bought a 190 some time ago, and it had a cheap simmons on it.It may do the job proprely but with good glass you always pull the full potential out of you rifle and on the long run you are never at lost, i'd rather have a 400.00 scope on a 100.00 rifle than vice versa... My 0.02 cents. JP.
It will certainly work, but if I had the cash and were in your position, I'd get a better scope and sell or keep the 3x9, as I prefer an adjustable objective on a rimfire bolt action. A bushnell banner 4x12 or 6x18 works pretty well for me. Of course, it depends on the type of shooting you do. In general, for gophers and target shooting a more powerful like that is preferred. For rabbits and plinking, the lower power scopes are fine.
As long as the scope is working properly it'll be fine. Had a fixed 4X Tasco I paid $40 BNIB for on my .243 for a few years. Worked just fine.
