Post your Milsurp Pistols and Revolvers (looking for pics)

bond3.jpg

This is the pistol used by Connery in the James Bond 007 movies. The ACTUAL pistol used, taken in the UK.

Happy to chime in here, though I don't have enough milsurp pistols to fill a rug yet.

S&W Hand Ejector, 2nd Model in .455, named to a Military Cross winning Captain in the Royal Canadian Engineers, here posed with some related items.

Another Smith, a late pre-Victory in .38 S&W. Here posted with items belonging to my grandfather, who carried one overseas.

Holy...what you lack in quantity you make up for in quality. Nice guns!

Ac41

Here is an AC41 with matching magazine. If you look carefully, you can see the angled double E/359 on the left side.

My favorite P38, however is my February/March 1945 CYQ.
Thanks for looking:)

Here are some milsurp pistol pics from my "ready to go" pictures files (yes, I took these all of things I either own or used to own).

Bond, James Bond :) Am I right ???

It was meant to be a Bond parody.

Some things you guys didn't catch: The pills are Celebrex pain killers, favourites of arthritics, pro-athletes and special forces types. The watch is an Omega Speedmaster, as famously worn by Bond in "Moonraker". The Ukrainian docs have a woman's name on them. ;)

Glad you guys got a kick out of it.

I'll be posting some pics next week. I am buying 2 Enfield Revolvers from a fellow CGN'er! One is a 1936 No.2 Mk 1 and the other is a 1944 No. 2 Mk 1*. The Mk 1 is in very good condition with an excellent bore and the Mk 1* is in good condition with an excellent bore but has been parkerised at some point. I got an incredible deal on the two of them and am extremely happy to have to two models.

This thread is to awesome to let die...

Also have a 1938 S/42 P08 Luger inbound. Always searching for a nice pre 1943 Walther P38

Most if not all of the original, non refurb ones seem to have that. I think it is something to do with the heat treating.

You see the same thing on the front 1/4 of an original finish parked M1911A1. It's from the extra heat treating of the front of the slide and bushing for extra hardness.

I'd give me left one for that Inglis. Regret selling it?

Thanks for posting Artyman. I'm glad you're keeping the thread going.

I'm still waiting to take possession of the two beauties I'm buying so I can post some pics. :(
