Is it me or does something smell funny in this thread? Thank God i didn't step in it!
A large heart with a powerful beat can compromise accuracy potential.
Your living my dream. One day I too hope to hit a pie plate at 800 yards.![]()
At 800 yards it is more fun to hit a deer or bear in the noggin. Marmot are fun. Elk are not much of a challenge. The round is absolutely devastating at 800 yards - almost too much.![]()
It is like a Ben Stiller movie - both deadly accurate, and deadly, that is double deadly.Deadly accurate and deadly.
This thread is gold! And in this case a suppressed heart beat has impaired blood flow and compromised brain function.
Likely, but I have to be able to hit pie plates first.
I'l have to start with a really big pie plate too.
Toomanyguns what caliber is your rifle?
Recent efforts have been directed towards controlling the beat of my large heart. I employ meditative relaxation techniques that reduce the rate of heart beat. I also practice with the aid of an audible cardiac monitor alarm to time the trigger squeeze.
My style of shooting does not involve a time factor thus I am able to focus on my cardiac control in between shots.
