There's a place in hell for people who intentionally rip people off for their gain.
You lost me at auctioning it off auctions literally sell for what people are willing to pay for it so how do you get price gouging with an auction ?
What do you guys think of the retailer buying up stock from other retailers and then auctioning it off at ridiculous prices and making a ton of money and screwing the shooting community?
I’m finding it a little hard to stomach, In this time of need it takes a shady dude to line his pockets this way,,
I’ll never support them, this won’t last forever,,

A vendor does what has to be done to make money and live.
That's how it is.
If you don't like it, or can't afford it, don't blame it on the vendor for being up on his/her game.
This is the part that concerns me. Unlike you Bearhunter Iam still quite young and would hopefully have 50 years left of sport shooting. Things described above keep a new generation out of it, maybe that's where you dont care anymore? A friend of mine recently got into reloading, I gifted him a press and a few other things to help him out. Components are tough and expensive to find without someone in the "shooting community" buying up limited existing stock to sell at higher prices. I understand free market, but this directly hurts the firearms market and the sport as a whole when it's fate is already balanced on a needle point.
I hope you don't take this post as an attack, I enjoy your stories and wisdom you bring to the forum. Just sharing for people on the other side of it.
Did you even read my post? Maybe you should have your eyes checked. Where would it imply I was "only worried about cost" my entire post was in concern of how this affects the shooting community, that's politics involved, the more people in this game the harder it is to cancel. What a bunch of uninformed and snively Hooey.
What you really ought to be concerned about isn't the price of shooting but the politics that will take it away from you while you're only concern is ranting over cost.
Send him a message and tell him they are in stock at shooters choice in Ontario for 129.99 per 1000

Hooey? Tell me you're an old fudd without telling me you're an old fudd
Anyone defending a retailer doing this needs to take a look in the mirror, the person you see staring back at you is the problem in this community.
And there's the fudd talk
