No idea what your talking about. My shadow cycles the same ammo without any issues. With my RDS or irons. Not one FTF in thousands of rounds. Had more dead primers than FTF.
 
I've heard of micro RDS slide mounted optics giving problems on 22LR pistols but never on a centerfire. I've got a Venom on a spare SIG226 slide with factory stiff recoil spring and even shot some poof loads trying to use up my XMetal pills with zero hiccups.

Guess one can always run it as stock and see if they run into cycling problems. The fix would be an easy $15. spring.

That is because you are running ammo that will run the slide. Don't get your yours self all worked up. The RMR will have an effect on the slide. MY New Edition certainly cycles a bit slower. Now you have an idea what I am talking about. Glocks have heavier slides than my Shadow. Too, Glocks are probably the easiest guns I know of to limp wrist. Go to youtube there are several videos demonstrating the effects of limp wristing and the Glock platform. There are other guns besides the CZ Shadow.

Trinimon if I was going to leave my RMR on my CZ I would probably opt for a slightly lighter recoil spring as you are right it is an easy adjustment. I am going to move to the PPQ M2 Match for next year.

I thought weight limit for carry optics was 35oz, and all the specs I’ve found for CZ Shadow put it at around 40oz.

Granted, this is google research, so I don’t know if either of those numbers is really correct.

Yes Chris.....USPSA changed the weight rule to 45oz.....a Shadow can now make weight even without milling the slide, but Shadow 2 needs a bunch a trimming to barely make it and only if you mill the slide

Mine arrives on Thursday afternoon by mail. Tks Durham Outdoors. Friday will be range day come snow, sleet or rain.:>). I am going to put a Vortex Viper on her when she arrives. The sight currently sits on a CZ New Edition. Anyone need a dovetail mount for a CZ?
