sniperone the first thing if you intend to play in a shooting sport is to find out what the equipment rules are BEFORE you buy the gun, not after. Your G 34 would be legal in USPSA Production Optic and IDPA Optic but it is a fail for IPSC Optic unless there is a change in the rules and I doubt that is going to happen.
If you do mount the RMR on the G 34 you might want to invest in a lighter recoil spring. The additional weight of the RMR on the slide has caused issues with some guns. I know my CZ New Edition slide is very sluggish. The gun has not jammed yet but it would not take much effort on my part to induce a FTF.
Take Care

No idea what your talking about. My shadow cycles the same ammo without any issues. With my RDS or irons. Not one FTF in thousands of rounds. Had more dead primers than FTF.
thats what I use. Had to shim the bottom of the dovetail tho, as even with the set screws it was a loose fit.
How did you do that if you don't mind me asking?
Thanks I ordered one even though it's on backorder, they say they will ship to Canada with some restrictions, do you happen to know if they will ship this item directly to me?
Thanks
LM
Thanks guys!
Can you use a shadow in the US for carry optics? I thought they had some rules around weight?
Thanks
LM
I thought weight limit for carry optics was 35oz, and all the specs I’ve found for CZ Shadow put it at around 40oz.
Granted, this is google research, so I don’t know if either of those numbers is really correct.

Glock 34 with a Trijicon Type 2 RM06 on top sounded like a good birthday present. Not sure why the 34 is not allowed in Production, but hope I can use it in the Production Optics next summer. The RM06 is sitting on my desk waiting for the 34 to arrive tomorrow. Can you say 'Weekend Project'?
Its never too late for a PPQ Match for a Christmas present.
