PRS Match CDTSA Milo Range

Those numbers will have to come from Ryan as I wont see them till after the match. (Or wait till next week)

BUT

We do know and have already acknowledged that we need to give the membership more warning for signing up and this should get sorted out for next match. (Hindsight 20/20)

The wind out there can really play with things. The berms are gigantic and block a lot of wind in some places and not a lot in others.

Maybe I should bring a few more rounds than originally thought.

Yup. I've noticed that a lot walking down range out there.

I've brought 200 rounds... =) I'll call it quits if I have to use anywhere near that many.

I am still bringing the 308 with about 80 rounds (may get to loading a bit more tonight), but I have too much fun using the AR for 300+m.

Little birdy told me you just dropped some coin on a new toy :)

Awesome day! Lots of crazy wind to keep things interesting.
Thanks to Ryan for the great match and Karl for the help!

Had a great day! Thanks to Ryan for setting it up, the ro's, score keepers, spotters, and of course to Harley and Andy from insite arms for the fantastic prizes they donated!!! Can't wait to do it again!

Was a really great match! Great job Ryan!

As expected, shines a bright light on what I need to work on for sure which is always good to take away from something new like this.

Big thanks to Insight Arms for supporting the match! Was great to have you guys there.

Well, after having the chance to attend this PRS style match that Ryan RO'd/directed, I can say that Milo PRS style shooting will have a strong future, and is in good hands. He did a really great job of coming up with challenging stages and support props (or lack of) that kicked my amateur butt. Thanks for a great day of precision rifle shooting, I learned a ton in a hurry.

Good to see you guys also had a good time.

I found that barricades are a #####, not as easy as I had imagined. Half the time I didn't even use the bag I had connected to my belt.
So the saying practice like you play makes sense, muscle memory kicks in and you forget what you're doing. I ended up trying to rack the bolt with my right hand on my left handed rifle twice on barricades, all thanks to about 2200 rounds from my right handed 308, and 5000 from the 22LR trainer. I'm planning on getting a left handed 22 now.
