PRS Match CDTSA Milo Range

Do you have rig details on that 6XC/SLR?

I am hoping we will see a wide variety out there.

Here is a picture of my 6slr. It's a trued rem 700 action with a 7.75 twist mtu contour benchmark barrel finished at 26". Mcm A5 stock, surgeon bottom metal, cadex dx2 trigger, it's gonna have a S&B pm2 5-25x56 scope on it. Heavy distress cerakote. My 6xc is similar but has a white camo mcmA5 and a diamond fluted barrel. Seekins bottom metal trigger tech trigger, premier heritage 5-25x56 glass on it.

Ryan, awesome job so far getting this going. I anticipate your next hurdle will be volunteers. I know I have told you offline i'm happy to help anyways I can, I also know another couple of the guys registered would be equally happy to help. If you need to start delegating some responsibilities, feel free to start unloading.
Stage set up, stage officers to call shots etc. Just let us know!

Yeah I'm out. No way to confirm dope before would make the trip useless. I'm going to a match same day in Washington instead.

How do you withdraw? I'm on the wait list.

Thanks for stepping up. There are few things going on at the club and it is possible that we may have some sponsors that will provide some labour (hopefully!).

I will be looking for responsible people to be squad leaders though.

In the rules there was an update on caliber restrictions. For safety and the good of the club steel the is a .30 bullet size restriction. We also did this to bring us close in line with Official PRS rules out of the states. They have a caliber and FPS restriction (~3,150 FPS). We may be shooting at steel from 101 metres.

Well that throws a bit of a wrench in my plans... I don't happen to have another bolt gun handy... kind of wish that had been decided a bit earlier but it is what it is I suppose.

I have to try and figure out what to bring now.

Calibre restriction is part of PRS rules. This isn't a club specific rule. While it wasn't formally announced, it is something that should have been considered and likely assumed.

Rifle doesn't have to be bolt action if that opens any doors.

The rules were up and posted on the website prior to registration opening up.
We are trying to figure out some ways that will help open communication to competitors. But I know that doesn't help you out today :)

I have a nice sling shot if you want to try that out?

What kind of ETA can be expected on a match overview? (Stuff like important timings such as latest registration withdrawal, payment due date, match cancellation due to extenuating circumstances, setup, registration, squading, tear down, etc.)
Should it be assumed it will all be posted to the CDTSA website?

It is still full I am afraid.

With this much interest later matches may need to be larger. With zero experience running this kind of event it was thought best to start small so we can learn from the event before moving on to larger ones.

It is great to see that there is a lot of interest in these events. Everyone should look out for more events in the future (I would say more but things are still in the works).

Will persons on the waitlist receive an email regarding their priority in wait therefore encouraging us to be prepared in case cancellations make it possible for us to attend?

Nice work Ryan. Stepping up and trying to get this going is big of you.

Not making people pay ahead of time is a guaranteed recipe for no-shows.

I'd like to bring my .260 MH (with a bushie on it...oh the irony) in August but we have out first little one due only a couple weeks later.

I assume restricted guns are allowed?? What about R-capacity mags for semi's?

If you do this again in 2017 I'd gladly come and help you a day before, and tear down.

I've not a bloody sniff what's involved, but I'll use U of YouTube to educate me in the interim.....

-J.
