He doesn't own any land in the Ottawa area, he like myself has established connections with a few landowner. We have sort of become known as the " young lads that hunt here".
Asking this far ahead for geese is not the best use of your time. You need to scout them during the season, just picking a corn field won't cut it.
Darn, wish you knew someone who owned some land there!
So any suggestions? I gather from the above quote that I should watch the geese during the early parts of the season, and see where they're landing, then use that info to try and get access to those patches of land next season (assuming it'll be too late to ask during the season)?
