1-8" 26" Mcgowan varmint contour 22-243 Middlestead built off a savage 10FP wearing 6.5-20X50 Leupold MK 4 and a B&C vertical grip varminter. Still in the load development stage but according to the chronograph with h1000 it should shoot 80 GR bullets like a 22-250 shoots 50 gr bullets. I am getting near compressed loads with no pressure signs yet so I might have to speed the burn rate up a bit and try some H4831, H4350 or RL 19 for the heavy bullets. I suspect RL 17 should work good for the 65 GR and lighter range if they will stabilize and hold together in a 1-8.
P.S. this is my first wildcat and also my first attempt at load development from scratch so if I am not on the right track or anyone has some pointers for me I am all ears.
