well Joe , I think my next projext will run a 6.5x284T on a remmy 700 action and gailard sporter barrel for hunting and varmints, maybe a jewel trigger , I relise the 6.5x284 is no longer a wildcat but the 6.5x284 Tight or Match is still a wildcat and watching the 5" groups @ 1000 yards is pretty amazing cartridge by all means

They differ in that improved cartridges may be necked down or up but changes to the case body happen in the chamber only upon firing.
